• Manga I’ve Read

  First I’ll do manga since it’s easy. I haven’t really read that much. Here’s the list:

  Rurouni Kenshin -  complete (volumes 1-28)
  
  Hikaru no Go – (volumes 1-2)
  
  Naruto – read the first arc or so, then started at about a volume
  before Kakashi Gaiden and read to current (chapters 1-36,  227- 401)
  
  Black Cat – volume 1
  
  Fruit’s Basket – volume 1
  
  Gunparade March – volume 1
  
  His and Her Circumstances (Kare Kano) -  (volumes 1-6)
  
  School Rumble – up to current US release (volumes 1-9)
  
  Negima!: Magister Negi Magi (Mahō Sensei Negima!)  – up to current US release (volumes 1-17)
  
  Genshiken  – complete (volumes 1-9)
  
  Imadoki – complete (volumes 1-5)
  
  MeruPuri – complete (volumes 1-4)
  
  Pretear – complete (volumes 1-4)
  
  Hellsing – (volumes 1-7)
  
  Rayearth – (volumes 1-3)
  
  xxxHolic – (volumes 1-3)
  Blade of the Immortal – (volumes 1-5)
  Shaman King – (volume 1 plus 2 random chapters I was linked to in order to get me hooked involving some iron maiden girl)

  Hmm. General impressions? These were all awesome.  Genshiken and MeruPuri were the weirdest.  I found Naruto and Hellsing to be the most consistently enjoyable. CLAMP stuff I felt was well balanced and I could read it any time. School Rumble was the funniest hands down.  Imadoki and Kare Kano were sweet and I love them when I’m in the mood for that stuff.

  And Kenshin is just the best.

  Period.
