i should
I should probably write an interesting blog entry or two, respond to comments, emails, facebook messages, and post comments on other people’s blogs and pulses and I don’t know… do stuff I guess.
But I just don’t feel like it.
And I really really really don’t feel like going to work today. I will of course. But I won’t be very productive. It’s not like I’m tired. It was a busy weekend but I don’t feel at all tired. In fact I’m wide awake and up early enough to get to work early if I want like I prefer to do.
And yet I do think I might be coming down with a cold. Or something. Maybe that’s the cause of this lethargy.
Some anonymous reader(s) has clicked on like a gazillion blog entries of mine over the last few days. I despise footprints. They are an evil thing. Cuz whenever anyone reads something I wrote and I *know* that they read it even if it might be a stranger or a bot for all I know I always end up going back and rereading or skimming it myself and that’s just no good. I don’t like reading my own writing. heh. But I don’t mind strangers reading my blog and I’ll never lock it.
“I don’t want to think about tomorrow”
Eh. That’s not exactly true. It’s more like I have no thoughts about tomorrow. Or maybe tomorrow just doesn’t seem interesting enough to inspire thoughts.

Anonymous readers…..hmph. the slightly off-putting not-quite-scourge of the Internet.
@VaultESL - if they were a real scourge they’d be so much more interesting. As they are they’re just damnably annoying.
Hello, I’m here for an argument?
You haven’t given me much to work with here, ya know (she complained). It’s hard to argue about whether you feel like going to work, or if you’re getting a cold.
I don’t mind anonymous footprints, I’ve got a gazillion of ‘em. I just think “Hey! Somebody’s reading my crap! Coooooooool!” So what if they’re a bot or space aliens or bored people at work in California? Who cares? At least they read my stuff!
Ah – the seeds of an argument blossom! Why do you even check your footprints? What’s the point? Who cares? (Feel free to respond abusively to really get this fight going.
)
@CanadianBroad - Do you know how long I tried to build up an argument? I wrote long rambling posts about controversial topics like abortion and religion and nice guys and sticks and stones and still.. still nobody fought. Nobody was offended. Nobody complained. Nobody even really challenged what I said or told me I was full of it. Everyone was so polite and kind I just got… discouraged… So that’s why I’ve been writing about magnet toys and getting a cold these days…
But now that you’re here I guess I’ll give it another go soon. hmmm what’s a good topic? I’ve got a couple of ideas… my secret weapons that I’ve been terrified to try because they might cause xanga to self destruct… but I might have no choice but to bust them out soon. But if you have some good alternative ideas that will keep me from doing that by all the mean bring them up. I really enjoy a good argument and I’ll argue about anything at all.
@nephyo - Oh gawds no, I can barely think of a topic for my own blog! If I come up with some super-whiz-bang idea, I’m gonna use it!
Hmmm … maybe I could just search your archive and come up with an old post to argue about for now. Just to get us warmed up, as it were. Both abortion and religion are things I like to argue about. I have some … uhmmm … unconventional views of both. I’ll be back later to check them out.
I got two really funny and puzzling footprints the other day: USA and Canada. What the whole frickin’ country came to my blog? Whoa!
Talk to you later!!
start drinking some OJ! that’ll help battle with the impending cold or what-not. feel better soon!
and yea… it feels like a lazy monday doesn’t it?
