  • Persuasiveness

The number of people I’ve tried to convince to start a Xanga or start writing entries in their Xanga:

    5

The number of people I’ve succeeded in convincing to start a Xanga or start writing entries in their Xanga:

    ZERO!!

    (>_<)

I guess I must not be very persuasive.

Have you ever gotten anybody to join xanga? How about gotten anybody to become a more active member of Xanga?

If you have, how did you do it? Can you suggest any good strategies to use in recruitment?

  • Uh huh. 2 to be exact. Though, those two joined to read my blog, and not start their own… And I have no clue how I did it. Good luck to you though!

Well, really 4… and those two are dating now. :)

And if you want to be technical, 5… he joined coz he saw my blog randomly and decided to join after reading.

There’s probably more than five … I should post on my blog and ask. Hmm.

  • Nope, I’ve never gotten anyone to join….but now, I’m glad because I don’t have to worry about what I write. :)

  • Force them to read yours over and over until the day finally comes they say “FINE I will make one so you don’t have to keep showing me yours!” ;)

  • @Southernlass - @qccan - lol. Nice strategies. I’ll liquor them up and strap them down in front of a computer and make a nice adventure of it!   But first I’ll start writing some really really annoying xanga entries just to make sure they are sufficiently tortured.

  • 1 actually. That was my friend Ashely. And I don’t think she did it to blog. She just thought it was the only way she could read mine. lol.

  • Don’t worry. I don’t have a great track record either.

The number of people I recall I’ve ever told to go fuck themselves:
    3

The number of people I’ve succeeded in convincing to fuck themselves after my suggestion:
    ZERO!!

    Go figure.
