  • Alright … I would write this as

When he finally found her, she lay dying at the beginning of her story while he was at the end.

Though you do write an intriguing second great line. I’m left pondering what the following lines would be. Hmmm. Keep up the good work!

As for a grade- B+/B- … I wonder if I should give everyone else grades.

  • @rianahntr - This time I like my way of saying it better than yours. Oh well. I might flip it around and say the beginning of her story at the end of the sentence but I like the “but that turned out” phrase.  Then again I know that makes sense because I know what the first and third sentences would likely be about.

Anyway, go ahead and keep grading all of mine!  I’m curious as to what grade I will get.  I’m sure others won’t mind either. But don’t be surprised if we start grading yours too! :D

My goal is to get an A++ from you now! ^_^

  • that is a great second line

  • @nephyo - i like the “but that turned out” phrase, as well.

  • Two thumbs up! I like this one even better then the last one..

  • Writing assignments? Is this a short story circle?

  • @Mentalist_Jones - yup. Basically rianahntr started doing these writing assignment writing prompts to stir up ideas for perspective short story authors and novelist wannabes like me. And I thought it’d be cool to get a group together and you know challenge each other with writing prompts and.

Right now we’re all doing rianahntr’s assignments. She has eleven written so far and more on the way.  You are welcome to join in and do them yourself! Just follow the links I posted and feel free to join the blogring.

Or just feel free to read them and comment to your hearts content. We always like getting feedback.

If you write your own I will link to yours and do my best to promote it and I’ll leave feedback.

    Anyway, enjoy!

  • sexeh line =)

  • @nephyo - Cool thanks. My current circle seems to be…stuck on something. I need to add new members

  • Neat writing group, would it be possible to join?

And I’ll second rianahtr’s (sp?) suggestion, but overall this is a well written site.

  • @Requiem619 - of course you can join! Please do!  All you have to do is join the blog ring and start doing them and commenting. You can look at the webblog pool or follow the links above to see the other assignments.

Feel free to grade them too :)

  • @Mentalist_Jones - you’re welcome to recruit from our group if you want. Or join us. We’re just getting started though.

  • @nephyo - New Angel Writers is my blogring. Once the new semester begins, so will my entries.
Were also working on some Podcast production so yeah.
